Giving

Being a disciple means following Jesus with our whole lives. Jesus is not an “add-on” to life. He IS our life. So, we trust him with everything—our time, our talents, and our treasure.

At FPC, we encourage disciples of Jesus to live generously in each of these areas. God is the creator of time, so how we can glorify God with our time? God has gifted each of us with talents and abilities, so how can we use our talents in service and love? God is the giver of every good gift, so how can we invest our treasure in God’s Kingdom?

All that we have comes from God. All that we have can have a Kingdom impact on the world.

If you would like to invest financially in the work of Christ through the mission of FPC, below you will find an automated form below.

FPC does have a mobile app available through Breeze. Check Apple or Google Play for the Breeze app with the sailboat logo. Once in the app, enter our church ID: firstpresbymc. If you already know your login name and password, sign in with those. If not, select Create an Account and you will receive an email invitation with a link for you to create an account. An account is not necessary in order to make donations, but is highly recommended so that you can manage your account, view your giving history and make adjustments to any recurring donations you set up.

Simply text the amount you would like to give. If it is the first time, you will receive a message with a link to enable you to set up your payment method (credit card, debit card, or bank account). This payment method will be linked to your mobile phone number you are texting from. In the future all you have to do is enter the amount. (You will not need to re-enter your payment information.)

Specific funds by be indicated by the following keywords. NOTE: If there is no fund designated, the gift will go to the general tithes and offerings. Also note that you can only give to one fund at a time.

"building" for Building Fund

"food" for Food Pantry Fund

"hands" for Hands of Christ Fund

"henry" for Henry Bonner Offering

"logos" for LOGOS Fund

"mission" for Mission Fund

"youth" for Youth Fund

"pledge" for Pledged Offering

Some examples:

"$50" donates $50 to the church. You can make it any amount and the dollar sign is optional.

"give $50" does the same as above.

"give" returns a message asking how much you'd like to give.

"$50 missions" donates $50 to our Mission Fund.

"$50 weekly" sets up a recurring gift of $50 each weekly. Frequency can be weekly, biweekly, monthly or yearly.

"$50 missions weekly" sets up a recurring gife of $50 each week to our Mission Fund/

"update" allows you to update your payment method or any recurring gift.

"unlink" removes your mobile phone number from the Text to Give system.

"commands" provides a list of available text commands.
